A memorial event for Professor Emeritus Toshio Watanabe (Sainsbury Institute for the Study of Japanese Arts and Cultures), co-hosted by the Society for the Study of Japonisme, will be held in London on Friday, May 15 and Saturday, May 16 under the title Transnational Japanisms: Art, Craft, Design.
