Preparations are underway for the upcoming 40th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Society for the Study of Japonisme, to be held either May 16 (Sat.) or May 23 (Sat.). Due to the spread of the new coronavirus infection however, we have as yet been unable to secure an appropriate venue for the meeting. As arrangements are in the process of being fine-tuned, appropriate details and advice will be posted on our website as soon as arrangements are clarified, including the possibility the event may see cancellation.
